Abstract The antagonistic effectiveness of native strains of Trichoderma spp. on Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. pisi. in vitro, greenhouse and field conditions, were evaluated. in vitro conditions, the antagonistic capacity of 12 strains of Trichoderma spp., C2, C7, C12 and C21 strains, exhibited a better behavior measured by the following variables: inhibition halo and mycelial growth. In greenhouse conditions, the four strains, which showed the best in vitro antagonistic behavior, were evaluated using a DIA experimental design with factorial arrangement for three factors, which corresponded to strain, concentration and dose. Cerezas cv. Sweet Heart® de un cultivo orgánico en la comuna de Los Angeles, región del BíoBío, Chile, sometidas a los tratamientos:T0, control; T1, con 1.5% de sucralosa y T2, con 2.0% sucralosa. Se almacenaron en cajas de 5 kg con bolsas FreshView en A.M., conservadas por 20, 35 y 50 días a temperatura de 0 ± 0.5 °C y humedad relativa de 90 ± 0.5%. Después de 35 dias, las cerezas con el tratamiento (T1) exhibieron la menor pérdida de peso. Esta tendencia fue mantenida al día 50, al utilizar sucralosa (T1 y T2), con menor pérdida de peso respecto al tratamiento T0. Abstract Microencapsulation protects different bioactive compounds (anthocyanins) from environmental factors, increasing their half-life. In this study, the extraction and microencapsulation conditions for purple cabbage anthocyanins were determined, in addition to stability of the natural pigment obtained in a fermented milk beverage. Abstract: The quality of the main chocolates marketed in Peru was determined. The physical aspect: color (C *, H *, IB), hardness and particle size, as well as physicochemical: water activity (aw), moisture, fat and ash, correlating with the declaration of ingredients presented in the packaging. We evaluated 30 experimental units of chocolates (imported, domestic, dark chocolate and milk) by experimental methods, randomly acquired from different establishments. The difference between color and hardness by origin was attributed to the dairy component. Abstract Cattleya trianae (Linden & Reichb.f., 1860), Colombian national flower, is in danger of extinction due to the destruction of its natural habitats and excessive collection for horticultural purposes. Therefore, in vitro culture is a tool for the conservation of threatened species. In this study we determined the most suitable culture medium for asimbytic seed germination and in vitro propagation of C. trianae. RESUMEN Se evaluaron en invernadero en un suelo de Matazul, Meta, Colombia durante 6 semanas, 2 genotipos de Brachiaria (uno mejor adaptado a bajo P, B. decumbens y otro menos adaptado, B. ruziziensis) y 8 progenies del cruzamiento entre ellos ( mejores adaptados: H-7, H-40, H-28, H-58; menos adaptados: H-190, H-94, H-82, H-179). Los genotipos mejor adaptados presentaron mayor biomasa aérea, explicada por mayor área foliar, mayor absorción de P en el tallo y mayor volumen de raíz. Las características morfológicas de las raíces, principalmente longitud, peso seco y contenido de P, permiteron mejor adaptación a bajo P disponible en el suelo. El periodo de evaluación fue suficiente para observar diferencias entre progenies. |

Este trabalho teve como objetivo caracterizar alguns atributos químicos do solo e avaliar a comunidade de fungos micorrízicos arbusculares (FMAs) em uma área de pastagem e um sistema agroflorestal (SAF). A área de estudo está localizada na "Fazendinha Agroecológica do Km 47", 22° 45'S, 43° 41'W, no município de Seropédica, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Foram coletadas amostras de solo na profundidade de 0-5 cm e quantificados os teores de carbono orgânico total (COT), Ca, Mg, pH, P e K. Os FMAs foram quantificados e posteriormente identificados.
